Or success stories. Bring them on! (and yes, I know the typical have your rocks on the bottom of the tank, not on the sand advice).

not a horror story i wouldnt say, i have 3 of them and they carved out a hole under my rock and one of my RFA's has moved under the rock into complete darkness

Ya I feel you, I had a really nice rfa about 6 years ago just wander to a dark spot behind my rocks and shrivel up and die. It sucks.
So what has your experience with those gobies been like Brandon? And how long have you had them?

had them for about 3 months, they live in a cave that i have and i really only see them during feeding. my kole tang lives in the cave at night too and i believe its where my pom pom crab hangs out during the day. Ive had no issues though.

Thanks for the input! I picked up a pair about 2 weeks ago and just yesterday one has started poking his head out of a hole. Glad to hear that yours haven't wreaked havoc on your tank.

Mine stole frags to shore up his never ending tunnels. I got tired of his thieving ways and put him in the fuge. He now lives a happy life building one tunnel after another in his own kingdom. Never see him till I clean the sump.

I've had 2 in my 125 for going on 3 years. They are huge! They still move a lot of sand around, abandoning old tunnels and starting new ones. I don't mind too much. It keeps the sand under the rockwork stirred up. It's kind of a pain trying to keep the sand from piling up in all the wrong spots, but I think it's worth it.

I don't have a horror story at all. Couldn't ask for more gentle giants (these two are over 12" each). The only complaint that I could have is that while I see them all the time, I rarely see more than half of the fish. On the rare occasion when one comes all of the way out of their labyrinth, it's truly a sight to see.

Heres a pic of my 3, came out shortly after i put a sheet of nori in, the tang is devouring in the picture lol
