Let's hear all about your refugium!

1. How big is your refugium compartment?
2. What kind of macro algae if any are you growing?
3. What kind of flow do you have in your fuge?
4. What type of lighting do you have for your fuge?
5. What is your lighting schedule?
6. What type of critters do you have in your fuge?
7. What do you hope to accomplish by running a refugium?
8. Give us a brief description of your main tank that the fuge is attached to.

Let's also share some photos and anything else I missed!

I'll snap a photo of mine asap! For now here is R2R member @melev's refugium on his 400g!

I've got two in my 65 - a two-foot HOB by CPR, and one in the sump. Flow in both is pretty gentle, and I'm growing Chaetomorpha, a bit of feather Caulerpa and Aiptasia in 'em. Both have Fiji mud bottoms, with a layer of sand on top to prevent clouding of the water column, and there should be a few small Nassarius snails in that muck. Keep finding bristle worms, spaghetti worms, Stomatella snails, amphipods, limpets and copepods there as well, which I don't often see in the display ... probably due to the presence of several wrasses.

The 40-B sump under the 220 won't allow much space for a proper 'fuge, but I'll put some Chaetomorpha in a pond basket and set it atop the Marine Pure block I have in there. Hopefully, that'll help clear whatever's clouding my water! Flow through there is a bit more aggressive - 2,500-3,000 GPH.
