So i know my heater is under rated for my tank so my temp is usually around 74-75 degrees, im ordering a new heater this week. My question with salinity will lower temp cause bigger salinity swings? Cause my apex has started at 35.2 ppt and now has dropped to 34.2ppt but yet tested water with refac which is calibrated correctly and it reads 35ppt. Yes tc is enabled on probes at 2.2.

If i have the temp more stable with the readings with salinity stay stable too?

Temperature does not effect salinity. It can effect the measurement of it with certain methods. Namely refractometer or conductivity. Your tank itself will remain at 1.026sg at 73 degrees at it is at 83 degrees.

Whenever my Chiller kicks in Apex reports a drop in my salinity. See attached picture. Salinity is of course not changing, all that is happening is that the sudden temperature changes seem to be affecting the conductivity reading. Once temperature stabilises the Apex salinity reading returns to normal.
