Temp Fluctuations While Curing Rock?

Hello,

I am making some new rock formations & want to cure it for a couple months… Will temp fluctuations hurt the curing process?

I’ll use water from an established system & a little rubble. I want to store it in the garage where temps will probably fluctuate from the 70’s to the 90’s…

Will just a power head for circulation & keeping the water level be sufficient to cycle & cure?

I don’t think it would really affect the curing process, as long as it doesn’t dry out it should decay most of the existing organics on the rock. The bacteria is tough, but it might not colonize as fast in 70 degree water.
