So, we have to replace our floors due to water damage. The first quote we have on laying tile is estimating a week to complete the work. I’m guessing the other estimates will be a similar time frame.

So, I’m thinking of moving my 92 gallon reef I to a 110 gallon stock tank from Tractor Supply so the tank can be moved for the floor work. Since it is warm here in SC, do you think it would be ok to keep on outside in our backyard? I can probably even put it where it can get some sunlight part of the day. This would help with keeping it out of the way while all the work is done.

Thoughts?

I remember reading something years ago about someone keeping a reef outside.
They use the blue tarp over the tank. So it gave the tank blue hue like your lights and I also kept bird droppings and other dust and stuff out of the water.
How long would this be set up for a day or two or a week, or longer?

Probably 1-2 weeks while the floors are replaced.
