At what depth are you running your temp probe and why?
I have mine at half depth.
1) because it's new to me lol
2) to me it will give a more even tank temp.
3) I can't find any info that says where to install it.

I don't think it matters much as long as it isn't right on the surface or next to a heater. Our tanks aren't deep enough to have temp fluctuations.....as long as you have good circulation in your tank/sump.

I have mine at 1/2 depth too becuase it's an average, but I also have one in my sump.
I never thought of putting one in my sump. I like that idea. Time to get a second one.

I didn't realize you had a sump....yes, definitely keep anything you can in there, and out of your DT. My only temp probe sits in my sump.
