Temp probe placement

Where do you guys place your temp probe? Right next to the reefmat? Display tank? In the returnbox where the emergency downpipe is?

turn the heater off when the sump is not running. that should keep it from cooking.

Set the internal thermostat on the heaters a couple degrees above tank temperature.
