Hello, last night I accidentally turned off the heater and forgot to turn it back on in my 30 gallon tank. The temp. dropped from 78.6 down to 72 +/- I have turned it back on and it is slowly climbing back but is this something that I should be worried about?

I have 2 clownfish and a blue hippo tang that was sitting in the tank while I prep the 90-gallon tank.

It will be fine, just don't raise the temperature up too fast. Things handle being too cold a lot better than being too hot. And even with that said 72 is not beyond their range (maybe their long term range, but in nature it can sometimes get that cold in tropical reefs at night anyways).

Don't worry about it, just don't shock them from trying to raise the temp too fast.

+1. Several years ago we lost power for a week and the tank dropped to 67. Was like this for a couple of days and all of the fish made it
