Temperature fluctuation

Hi

Just wondering is a temp fluctuation of 1 degree acceptable in a mixed reef ?

I recently purchased a temp controller and it seems to allow the temp to drop to 25°C when I have set it to keep it at 26 and fans come on at 27.

If this is OK could I set it at 27 and fans to come on at 28 and to heat at 25. Just because it's mostly around 25.1?

Your temperature is just fine. There's probably not a single tank out there that maintains an exact constant temperature. It's the nature of thermostats.
