Hey guys so I have a 28g jbj nano cube and lately I’ve been having some trouble with temperature. During the day my house is around 75-76 because no one is here but at night right before we sleep we bring it down to about 70. I have a 150w heater a digital thermometer and a glass one in my tank. During the day my tank is at a solid 78 which is where I like it but at night my tank gets down to 76.5-77 is this an issue? What can I do to prevent this I don’t want to bring up my heater because during the day the tank will be to hot.

certainly fine. My tank fluctuates a couple degrees every day, 77 or 78-80.

You could add another heater. Set it on a timer to only come on at night if you like.

Definitely not an issue.

I see about a 2-3 degree difference sometimes (80.5-78.0) especially during the winter months in FL.

As Nick mentioned a second heater might help flatten that temp swing. I run two in mine

I have a 2 deg fluctuation programmed into my Apex. I don't think reef temperatures are nearly as stable as we create, so I don't see any reason to fight the house temperature changes any harder than necessary.
