I have a 28 gallon nano that the temp swings between ~74 & 78 degrees. Is this a big deal? Everything seems healthy, the fish seem fine, coral thriving, all parameters stable. Just wondering if that needs to be tighter.

I don't see any problem with it. If everything seems to be doing well I wouldn't worry. My tank runs between 75-78 and I'm not seeing any issues. I've heard some say that it actually may be better in a way to have gradual temp changes. The theory is that if there is an issue with power outage or tank warming up the inhabitants are more used to varying temps, as opposed to tanks with very tight temp ranges. Just like anything though if it's a quick jump I would worry.
