I have read several varying opinions concerning temperature of a reef reef aquarium. What temperature o you keep your tank at? Mine is generally 78--79 degrees. It has been 83 degrees during the summer.

You are doing well then, as long as there are not drastic change in temp. For example the Gulf of Mexico will be at 76 degrees in the winter and as high near the cost line of 87 in the summer.

I keep my current system at 78.3 to 78.5.

Just trying to figure out the fish store I used to go to when I lived in Chicago on the north side back in the mid 90's

I like to keep mine around 78.

I try to keep mine around 80 F, when it's really hot here in AZ the temp sometimes climbs to 83 at the most.
