tempered or not?

Does anyone know if the new 75 gallon perfectos are tempered all over or just the bottom? Some people tell me all over and alot more are telling me it's just the bottom.

I've read a little and some say that if you place a laptop screen on one side of the glass and look through the glass at the laptop and if its warped its tempered. I guess if you do it to all sides and the bottom and if you see change your fine but if not I wouldnt rely on this solely.. my .02

I would try Polarized Sunglasses.

The glass should look splotchy in a pattern
(like when looking at a side car window with the sunglasses on)

Though calling them would be the best.

most perfecto tanks are labeled. the ones that are all tempered say "ALL sides are tempered" and the ones that arent only say "tampered glass". normaly on a perfecto its only the bottom for the 75's and up the 55 are all sides. but dont quote me on that.

Ya I did some reading and found that to be true on what you are saying, i'll call and find out for sure cause I don't want to start my upgrade with a pile of glass:squigglemouth:! So if all is well then the upgrade will start and I can move from my 29BC to a nice 75 and watch them corals grow out :bigsmile:!!!!!

Yes thats what I said, but when someone tells you something and you never delt with it then it is worth looking into so I think. It seems that im good I just wanted to make sure and I thank everyone for there input!
