So here is my tentative set up plan.
75 gallon DT
modular marine overflow
sump/ Rubbermaid tote for cryptic zone
2nd refugium for macro algae/copepods with baffles to separate that and the return section
HYDOR SELTZ D 2400 CONTROLLABLE AQUARIUM PUMP
I haven't decided lighting yet.

I want to make this as natural as possible. From my reading/research, cryptic zones, while taking a while to set up, they can take the place of a skimmer. I don't want to hear "nothing can replace a skimmer" cuz there has to a natural alternative.

Tentative inhabitants are as follows(obviously not adding them all at the same time) :
Mixed reef (haven't decided species yet)
Black Nox Angelfishx1 ( Centropyge nox)
Mocha Clownfishx2 ( Amphiprion ocellaris)
Blue/Green Reef Chromis x6 (Chromis viridis)
Flame Fin Tangx1 ( Ctenocheatus tominiensis)
Fuzzy Dwarf Lionfishx1 (Dendrochirusbrachypterus)
segmented Blennyx1 (Salarias segmentatus)
Plus CUC (undecided)

Be sure you have good oxygen exchange if you do not run a skimmer.
