What is the typical par range for tenuis and placement and what would be the ideal par and placement for rainbow loom?

Also im running leds so any views on light acclimation with these guys would be greatly appreciated aswell :)

par range in my tank is approximately 225-300 at highest postion

150-175 at mid to high

And 75-100 at mid to low

I *think* I have at least one tenius frag in my tank. They seem to be doing well with at least 150 PAR toward the top of the tank with a fair amount of flow. Hope this helps!

That helps :) also what about light acclimation?

I started the frags out lower in a more shaded area and moved them upwards into more light over the course of a few days. They seem to have done very well with that acclimation. I run 6 Kessil A360WEs and 2 60" T5HOs in my tank. I'll try to post some pics :)

Here are the pics :)

Are you using a frag rack for this aswell?

I am. Just a magnetic frag rack to ensure they take to my tank before I mount them permanently :)

Sweet :) so you keep them on the rack for a few days and then plant them to their forever spots?

Probably more than a few days :) I usually like to see significant growth before I plant them. I'm almost at that stage right now :)

No.......uhhh.....I'd say I keep them on the rack until I feel they're healthy enough for the move. If they're doing well on the rack, there should be no rush to move them until their final spot is cleared and ready :) I might keep frags on a rack for two months or more before I finally glue them down.

@AllSignsPointToFish one last question :) the sps are looking real good on the sand bed but would it be bad to move them to a frag rack on the other side of the tank or would it be better to move them onto a frag rack above the spot they were in, in the sand?

I think you could do either. Just keep an eye on them and adjust accordingly of something doesn't look right. If the frags are healthy, either option would probably work out okay.
