Has anyone ever tented there house without issues? and without covering their tank. I have a sub termite infestation in So Fl and they filled my tank to the point my fish were hiding. I took 24hrs of using nets, adjusting the flow of my pump and overflow to get them down the drain into my roller mat. The termite company showed me pics of a house he tented last week with no issues. The chemical they used leaves no residual, but I am still curious.

Tank cannot be torn down or moved and I may be able to catch my large expensive fish but not the smaller ones.

Any ideas or suggestions other than move a 220 gal tank out. I plan on turning off the skimmer and pump and just have the gyre move the water around. Then disconnect the sump and roller mat and vacuum out that water and do a water change after.

Thanks

Possible to encase in plastic and run a ventilation hose? I'd be trying to Macgyver something. Leave the lights off and circulate air. Even just duct taping garbage bags and running an air mattress pump with hoses running out of a window.
