Terra-cotta Aquarium Safe?

Hi, I am in need of 2 50 gallon rain barrels for water changes/top offs and I am curious if Terra-cota is reef safe? I don't see anything listed in the description about them being safe for drinking water, so I just want to be sure before I buy them.

From my research it’s made out of HDPE. Which generally is food safe. I think the brute trash cans are made out of the same material
