So my royal gramma(4weeks in my tank) found a nice little space in a cave that I've made. He tucks up tight in the little space between two rocks.. He does come out during the day quite a bit but he always winds up back in this one little spot. and when the lights go out at night that's where he is till the morning.
My clowns swim around the area but don't really go into his exact spot but they all seem to get along. Many times all the fish seem to congregate in the little cave entrance that belongs to the RC. I've noticed no hostility at all regarding territory and the clowns of course have their own space that they go to which is pretty much everywhere in the tank..

So yesterday I came home with a Midas blenny. He immediately went in this tiny little cave under a rock on the opposite side of my tank.. I was afraid he was going to be there for a couple weeks because he seems very shy and turned completely grayish brown then total brown when I put him in I was very worried about him.
I dropped some pellets of food by the entrance of his little cave this morning and sure enough he would sneak out now and then and eventually took the food..
Then I saw him come out of the cave swim around by the Royal grammars area.. Now the blenny moved into the grammas space and
the RC is now been evicted!!
They have been nose to nose he hangs under the rock looking up at The Midas as if to say "come on man get out of my house" it. I feel really bad for him :( he keeps swimming around that whole area it's like he doesn't know what to do now..

The Royal Gramma's home has always been that space And I wouldn't care if they swapped places except the he keeps trying to go up there.. I'm afraid they're going to get aggressive though they don't really seem to be as of yet... I thought Midas blennie liked to perch out in the open on top of rocks?

I truly hope they don't get aggressive because I am in love with my tank all the sisters so peaceful and almost seem to play together.. I hope I don't have a bully on my hands... Anybody ever experienced this with the Midas Blenny? And I guess there's nothing at all what I can do right?

I've only kept one midas blenny (coolest fish) and it was never aggressive. I would say to just keep an eye on things, they are probably posturing for territory and who knows how it will shake out. Perhaps the gramma will end up back in its spot.

Midas perch and back into holes to protect them selves and look around. I woukd suggest redoing the rock work and making more caves and maybe getting some rock with different holes for the midas. Also barnacles work well for blenny to perch in
