Wish I was able to have a tank dedicated to one. You might want to estimate his current size with feet/inches since they can get ~6 feet. If you have a picture I love seeing them. GLW giving away a beautiful eel.

I had a tessalata once. They are awesome but mean. It attacked anything I put with it. I have a eel now in my 46 bowfront reef but its a Hawaiian Golden Dwarf Eel. They only get 12 inches and eat frozen food. He does not bother anyone or coral. They are the perfect reef eel.

Nice might have to look into those a reef safe eel would be wicked

Im happy with my Snowflake Moray eel. He seems to get along with everyone unless they steal his food lol.
