Hi R2R,

So i was wondering, i have had my yellow tang and two darwin clowns for over a year. They have never had ich since i bought them and qt’d them myself.

Now a year later i am considering getting more fish.

How can i be certain my tank is even ich free, between new coral additions and new inverts, i am sure i somehow have ich in my tank but my fish are probably just immune.

TIA

One option would be to remove your fish from the display, qt them with your new fish, treat with copper and allow your display tank to sit fallow for 76 days coral and inverts remaining in DT. I am not on the up and up, but I do believe that you can add black mollies to your DT, as a test fish to see if ich is present or something like that. I think I have seen threads by @melypr1985 and @Humblefish about them.
