Since your No3 is at 20ppm your Po4 isn't bad but it can be higher as I mentioned.
Po4 and No3 are two important factors to have for healthy corals and a balanced bacteria population.

yea i kinow but hate when you get such a different reading between 2 kits it gets you crazy as to which one is the more correct one. It's either my Nitrates are crazy high 80ppm per API or high but definatly more manageable 20ppm RED SEA
I will not be getting another API once I finish this one.
For me the key is to really shake up/slam the bottle #2. The chemicals can settle and even get stuck. Make sure you shake it extremely well. I actually had to throw mine on the ground once to get it to read >0.

There is always some degree of error in test kits, Mine is usually the user (me
) even with the same brand. What you are looking for is if the numbers are rising and or changing at a alarming rate then one needs to make a correction, slowly. Look at what your tank is doing and stop chasing after numbers that will only make an enjoyable hobby a job
