Test Kit Help

Back in the day I used Salifert for all my test. I know things may have changed especially after seeing the Hanna products.

What would you guys/gals recommend to test what?

I use hanna for phosphate, have salifert too. Hanna for alk. Salifert for cal , mag, nitrate. The hanna checkers are nice but I didn't like the calcium. Still have api I just use for reference if I think the others are off

Thanks for the reply. I have read negative reviews as well for the hanna Calcium. I just picked up a milwaukee digital refractometer hoping it works out well for me.

Hanna for alkalinity and Salifert for everything else

I personally like the Red Sea testing kits. I don;t like to do a lot of conversions in my head that the Hanna ones make you do

I have also used the new Red Sea as well for Cal Mag n03 and they all worked well.

I use Hanna for Alk., Calcium, Phosphate and pH... it saves a lot of time. For everything else I use Red Sea kits.
