Not completely clear what you were asking, but in order to determine what color in the vials match which color on the chart, you need to hold the vials up against the white background of the chart not on the carpet

Are you cycling a tank, or is it established? More info on what you have going on.
 
If it is a established tank with livestock, those parameters are great. If you are starting a new tank, no.
 
Yes it is 6 months old cycled just got my own test kit my LFS has been testing it sorry for lack of info I am new

I have 2 clowns and 2 Blue/green chromis and a goly and some inverts looking for some better lights then
