Test Kit

I recently started trying to care about my aquarium again. I started with all equipment but I'm behind lost when it comes to choosing a test kit. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you have a reef tank, the three most important test kits to have are ALK, CALC and MAG. I prefer the Red Sea Reef Foundation Pro kit that comes with all three test kits. It can be found at any number of stores and on-line.....HERE's an example from amazon.

I just use API for Ammonia, Nitrites, Nitrates, PH and Phosphates
Salifert for MAG

+1 on the red sea, I also use Hanna for phosphate and alk.

I like my red sea kits
I have the Reef Foundation kit that is Ca/Alk/mag
and the Algae control kit NO3/PO4 buying them in kits is only a few bucks more then buying each individual test kit.
