Test kits & chemicals

I'm hoping to get a lockable storage cabinet for my garage and put my test kits and chems out there to ensure they are out of the reach of any foster kiddos we get. Anybody know of problems with doing so in an uncooled garage in Houston (Hot & Humid!)?

Use a small toolbox that you can lockup and keep it on room temperature.
Regents for test kits can go bad due to higher temps.
