Hello everyone,

When I do a water change how long after can I test the water and get a good sense of the water parameters?

Thanks for the time,

Michael

Pretty much immediately. I usually wait a day

Maybe I'll test both after and the next day that might give me a idea on how fast it changes for the bad and good.
Thanks for the time.

I wait a day, to really let things settle in for a true reading. Salts tend to have have higher amounts of Ca, Mg, and Alk. I also test before I change my salt to see where things are at even though I dose.
