I’m starting a fluval evo 13.5 in the next few weeks what should or need to test for and dose?

This will help you with the cycle. Once your cycle is done (and possibly after the fish fish if you want to double check), then you will test nitrate (ideally less than 20, I prefer between 5-15) and phosphate (between 0.03 and 0.1 is my preference). When/if you get corals, there are more steps but that is down the road.

Yea I’m asking mainly about corals I know to test for the basics ammonia nitrate nitrite ph. I’m asking about if I need to test phosphate calcium magnesium alkalinity. And if I need to dose any of those in a predominantly softie tank
