Hey R2R !

I am wondering how do you guys organize testing , dosing , and water changing in a reef ?

I am curious how you guys would test , time of day , how far apart do you guys separate test, do you guys test after a water change ?

I am looking into getting my fish and corals out of their holding tank and getting them Into a nano tank, however my schedule is very tight with college work, my BJJ training, and Coaching that the only time I have is either a tight morning or a few hours I could use to test at night ?

Does the time of day matter ?

Just start testing. The only way to answer your question is with repeated testing until you can locate your own trend. Start with a couple times a week and go from there.

My reef is always changing. I need to test often to stay aware of the changes. You gain a perspective that will give you a rhythm but that rhythm is always changing.

I think you need a consistent time, and that will be your base line for change

and how many fish and how nano a tank?

Definitely going to do that ! I have my corals in a holding tank which will be a QT tank for corals after I switch over to nuvo 10. G

Definitely want to start testing at a certain time everyday and test weekly and daily on Alkalinity. Really looking to keep a very bright and healthy and Euphyllia tank !
