Testing Kits Recommendations

Hi, I have always used Red Sea test kits and find that sometimes they seem to be inconsistent and I am looking to try something different but unsure.

What brand or brands do you use and recommend?

There are several good threads on this very subject. You will find a wide variety of opinions.

My choices are.....Hanna checker ppm for alkalinity, Hanna phosphorous ppb for phosphate, Salifert for calcium, Aquaforest for Mg and Salifert/NYOS (or if you like the mad scientist gig like I do) Hanna for nitrate.

Which tests are you thinking are inaccurate? Red Sea usually aren’t bad
