What does everyone use to test their water chemistry ? I like to use the salifert test kits for a quick update and hanna checkers for a better reading.

Hanna for salinity, phosphate, alkalinity
Salifert for nitrate, magnesium, and calcium
That said still looking for a nitrate test I like and can read.

Still have a left over API test kit with pH, nitrite, nitrate, and ammonia. But that’s not core to anything I test.

I like to use one of these in the sump just in case - cheap and cheerful and lasts a year. Try the nitrate test kit from RED Sea
