That’s I’ll do that, then when do you use RO then?Whatever you do it replace water that evaporates, use new salt water instead of fresh water.

I’ll remember that, they drilled in my head to never use salt water to top off a tank.I sure hope so. Be very wary of the LFS since their ultimate goal is to make money, while we have far more accumulated expertise and have no agenda to push. many products sold at LFS will not do what they claim.

Thanks for the help, I know where to go now. I’m really going to start making my own saltwater.Well, that is good advice, EXCEPT when you want to raise salinity, in which case it is the best answer in most situations.![]()
