Testing or no testing?

So been in the hobby 3 weeks now, got 31 fish now, all doing great. The coral is popping
So I’ve done nothing but check salinity, and keep at 1.025ish I’ve not had any issues, everything is thriving. I’ve saved on buying test kits and ordered myself a Achilles tang how oftern and what do you guys test
Can we see some pics of the 31 fish? Thanks!

Friend, you are braver than I. I’m setting up a similar sized tank and I wouldn’t dream of throwing an Achilles in it. Scopes and tomini, sure.

also, 31 fish? Unless it’s 31 Neon gobies i think you’re flirting with disaster. If you can pull it off, great. But there’s a reason we’re all skeptical.

(and if I’m feeding a troll...meh. Work was dull today)

I’ll request pics from now not a repost of the build original pics.

write this alphanumeric code on a sticky note and display in the full tank shot

3 weeks in with 31 fish in a 4x2x2? And adding an Achilles Tang to the mix? To top it off you're not testing?

Have you done any sort of QT for the fish? How did you determine your tank was ready for this bioload?

Testing is much cheaper than buying more fish and coral. Most importantly it is imperative to test for the health and care of the animals you are putting into your tank. I'd suggest you slow down and do more research into reef keeping so you do not kill your current inhabitants.
QT? What’s that mate? Ahh be fine all fish look happy

BrianD you rascal, your scout profile has been outed

The days of former glory are gone, heavy- handedness and lack of that button did yer forum in. About two hundred folks have used the same button on me

Word has it they're still testing for nitrite to this day, out of spite.

OK I'll check it. Curious to see that many fish swimming around. Then re clicking. But I'm cliffhangered currently so I've got to see it

you can tell by context and each time you log in you can see new posts alerted in the fish disease forum that not quarantining or having any fish disease prep is super mean. at least have a fifty year old reef if you're going to attempt it.

ok on the pics.

click in the fish disease forum, study two hours, come back with a viable plan even if you aren't going to quarantine let's see any viable plan based on someone's comparative reef setup. You can tell by a quick scan in the disease forum that using no preps at all won’t work.

If you don't mind doing the large water change every week I don't think I would worry about any thing. That is how they have done it for years.

The belly on that BT looks stressed in the pic.
Should not be “pale” rather blue or in some cases, yellow.
Maybe just a reflection.
