Testing parameters during cycle

New to the hobby, began the cycle only a few days ago, doing the tests using API master kit as instructed. I began the cycle using dr Tim’s one and only as well as ammonia I followed the instructions as provided. Now I noticed that the ammonia is very high and the nitrite and nitrate is still 0, is this a bad thing?

Not at all. Ammonia will be converted into nitrite, then the nitrite will be converted into nitrates. Just give it some time.
