Testing?

Hi,

I'm at a point where not sure if these numbers are right.

Testing with Red sea kit, API and Salifert to get different readings/confirmations.

Did water change Saturday tested then waited 4 days and retest... wanted to get dosing going with the Red Sea foundation kit.

So...

Saturday:
Po4 - 0 to 1? Hard to tell color exactly
Ph - 7.8
Ca - 470
Alk - 7.7
No3 - 1 to 2...again color tough to tell
Mg - 1450

Today/Wednesday:

All readings the same except Alk down to 7.5

Can this be right?

11 SPS frags from wide world
1 hammer
1 torch
1 elegance
2 goniopora
1 trumpet
1 Duncan with 7 or 8 heads

Not sure at this point.

I have like 40 frags between torches Duncans acan the most birds nest my numbers don't drop in my 125g

Hard to say. Do you see any problems with your corals or would you just like to know?
I think there is a big difference from 0 po4 to 1 po4. Get a Hanna if you like to be sure.

Tank is Red Sea Reefer 450 so roughly 116g.

Yes, mainly just wanted to know if anything seemed wrong with numbers not going down. I guess I don't have to dose, besides ALK that i would like to get a little higher.

I'll pick up a Hanna phosphate tester today.

I don't see a problem with the numbers.

If you really mean you cannot distinguish 0 ppm from 1.0 ppm with that phosphate kit, there's a serious test kit problem. lol
