Questions... do you test your water? how often? and what do you test?
 
For me, that depends on a number of things. What I test for during the first 2 months of a tank setup isn't the same as what I test for in an established tank. Also depends on your equipment, for example if you have an auto dosing pump, you might be checking the elements you are dosing as much as every day whilst setting it up and dialing the pump in, but once it's established and if there's no change, then this might reduce to once a week.

Just wandering what other do, when,how,etc. I dose kalk in one tank, bio calcium in one and nothing in my nano.
 
I check for ca, mg, ph and kh about once a week normally and adjust my pump accordingly. It's never far out and I make an adjustment probably every other week.

Test my nitrate and phosphates about once a week as well. I don't bother with much else really.
