if you had about a dozen or so fish in a tank and all of a sudden about half showed frayed fins, one fish has one cloudy eye, one would generally cause this.

Fish only running copper, and I hit the tank with prazi pro on Tuesday, turned skimmer off, added two air stones in sump, mp40 breaking the surface, and temp is 76.

FWIW I have had this happen to fish in quarantine, and blamed it on murky , less than desirable water.

If this happening in display, what would you look to be the cause?

What kind of fish are these? Can you upload pics? What type of copper? What is the copper level at? How are you testing?
Copper suppresses the immune system and that’s why secondary infections are common with fish in copper or just out of it.
Do you have any meds on hand?

No pics yet. Copper is copper power, 1.75 measured copper Hanna meter.

These ragged fins were there before copper entered water.

Are you treating with antibiotics? Copper will exacerbate a pre-existing bacterial infection.

I usually leave the skimmer running when treating with prazi... helps significantly with aeration. Just remove the cup so it overflows right back into the tank. You want bubbles.
