I also ran my ato through my wall to my laundry room where I have a 55 gallon tote filled with R/OI fill with my R/O filter water changes will be done via this same hole in the wall where I will siphon water into the laundry drain mix salt in another container and pump it back in to the tank :) so stoked to have it automated this way!

I have been into large aggressive freshwater tanks for years where I learned u find out what ur goal is and work on getting that tank to start upgrading dosnt happen often and when it comes to reef tanks upgrading is just horrible recycling and what not moving it all over losses and junk I’m just going for the end game build lol and blessed to be able to do so

My new tank is only about a year and a half old, I have a Waterbox 100.3. Had reef tank up for 12 years back in SC many years ago. Looks like you are working on a real nice upgrade. Welcome to SA and R2R!

What a small world !
My tank is a waterbox peninsula 130 dt 170 total volume
What area of San Antonio do you live ? I’m on the edge of live oak and windcrest

ah, if I am interpreting correctly, you are in the NE sector looks like. I am West, a couple miles East of SeaWorld. About 20 miles on 410.

There are a few around. You would think that SA would have more. Probably the best two not far from me are (and I wish they had more stuff):

Elegant Reef and South Sea Aquatics; there are others but I personally prefer these over them. Food for Thought: Austin Aqua Farms is not too far away up in Austin. Been there a few times, great place. Its an online facility but they open to public on Saturday for a few hours. There may be something closer to you.

I have had luck with all of these breeding in my tank but when I moved I ditched the sand and slowly lost it all my small tank also got freak hair algae from lfs water... so nothing from my old tank save from fish will be going into my new tank but if any one is local and would want to do a trade and or just donate some critters let me know!
