Good catch there - my bad. Here are some places that sell culturable ones (they're pretty pricy, but they're the only places I know that carry live ones right now):

I was really hoping we have someone in the forum :( .
I saw these places too, but I just want something to try and the prices so much a small amount is a bit hard to swallow :face-with-tears-of-joy:
 
I've gotten thalassiosira and chaetogracilis diatoms from carolina.com

Price is decent, but they are sold in small test tubes with only about 50ml. I recommend starting 250ml at most and gradually increase volume as it colors up. I use glass erlenmeyer flasks and very low aeration.

Make sure you add silica. I use f/2 and a silica additive from florida aqua farms, but I've used super cheap "water glass" successfully in the past.

*edit*: thal is not tolerant of high par, especially at start so use low light
