I would just like to thank this community for all of the helpful information I am barely 7 months into a hobby I had never really heard about ,
I started out wrong from the beginning just jumped right into a tank full of critters the kids caught at the beach super high bio load super “ high nutrient “ (dirty?) tank ... over fed way too much , and I couldn’t get my nitrates and whatnot in check . However, through forums like these and after hours of YouTube videos I’ve built/upgraded a refugium built a rinky dink DIY algae scrubber, a DIY air stone protein skimmer And have only been running it for a few weeks and everything is perfect all my levels are perfect
