Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome today. I look forward spending more time with all of you.

Being a newbee to the reef tank hoby I will I'm sure pester you all from time to time with a million questions.. Question one...lol What is the proper way to place hre wonderful leather I won today so he won't float away. I tied puting him on the sand but that isn't working so well..

Pinch it between two pieces of rock to hold it in place. It will begin to adhere in a week or so.

I have used a rubber band around it and the rock you want it to attach to then in a couple of weeks cut it away.

I have used the rubberband method as well but refrain from putting it on tight. For my large finger leather I did what H@rry suggestd and they will stick after a week or so.

Use a piece of 100% cotton thread, tie Leather lightly to plug. Within a couple weeks the thread will dissolve. Bio-degradable, no fuss
