Thanks for having me!

Hi Kurt and Welcome! Glad you joined. Agree lots of changes for the better over time.

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

This might help you find people local to you in Potomac:

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:
Yes, I would if there is time. Basement filled with antique bird and marine-life print collection. Just worked on consolidating some into print files and boxes. I have a aquarium servicing guy reccommended by Tropical Lagoon coming later this week to help me out. Hope I don't pull a Jeremy. Thanks, Kurt

Welcome to the fun! :D
Hi,LeannaBanana, We are just big sacks of saltwater. Go visit the sea and you're going home. When I was a little kid living in Lincroft, N.J., Mom would take us to the beach every week day during the summer. I remember the long jetty, where many people fished. I remember they used to catch the sea robins and sand sharks and threw them on the beach to die. Well, at 4 years old, I refused to let those fish die. So my first marine job was collecting the fish, taking them far from the pier and letting them go. Some things don't have to change! Cheers, Kurt

Hi Vetteguy, Since you're still using acyrlic, do know what ever happened to Clarity-Plus? Thanks, Kurt "Pleased To Meet You, Hope You Can Guess My Name?"

Hi Sam, Neat. Do you know the group "The Who"? They produced rock's first rock opera, "Tommy". There's a song called "Tommy's Holiday Camp". The song ends with " WELCOME" being repeated. Cheers, Kurt

Hi LisaMarie You're all so active down there in Tennessee

Hi LisaMarie, That is definitely a warm welcome. I hope you don't pass out. I'll definitely have to take a peak at your threads. I know this sounds crazy, but the fish I want to try the most is the harlequin tusk with inverts. Just no decorative shrimp and giant clams. But there are so many choices with inverts that are gorgeous and compatible with a harlequin. I want to have some fish species I can see and like to move like you. Thanks For The Warmest Welcome, Cheers, Kurt

Been a long day !! Sorry !
Hi CoralB, It's happening everywhere. It's just not you. These times are the worst for Americans since The Civil War. Yes, worse than W.W.II. Aren't you glad we have fish and great aquariums to keep us occupied? Kurt
