Just ordered a captive bred Rainsford Goby (awesome fish; I miss my first one) and one the "grinch" montipora (presumably capricornis). Arrived in excellent condition (UPS distribution center pickup) and they are doing well. The goby is swimming about, acting normally.

The MCap is also quite colorful. I will keep it on the frag plug until I start to notice it growing, after which I will probably move it and another MCap frag I have onto a nearby rock. (I take it that I can just carefully remove the glue from under it?)

Ah, but she’s always been like that, and the fish have learned to ignore her.

(I took out the sound in the video below because i filmed this during a boring con-call)


I even previously tried to put newspaper on the side of the tank, at least as a temporary measure, but fortunately everything worked out .


Funniest thing is that sometimes when I remove the hood and bring it away to be power washed, she’ll jump on the corner rim and stare downwards.

That being said, sometimes I kind of hope that she’ll do this. Because that’s the only way I think she’ll be persuaded to stop.
