Sorry, need to vent some how.

Was rearranging the rock work a little last night. So I took out a rainbow Porites colony and set it next to the tank (in open air, was only going to be 5 minutes)..

Well. I ended up forgetting about it. Found it 13 hours later. I almost want to puke it's so upsetting...


Please tell me I'm not the only one?

I've done this to 1 or 2 frags that were recently fragged from colonies in my tank. It could always be worse!

I was doing a fresh water dip on 5 clams once and got side tracted and forgot about them till the next day, turns out a 24 hr fwd is deadly...

I hope you put it back in water there might be that chance 1 or 2 polyps could have made it!! Sorry to hear, i have done it too!!!

Yea, it's back in the tank. Doubt anything will survive. It was very dry when I got to it.
