That Random Nano!

We’re running!
The water is challenging to deal with as you can imagine - less than 1G in each isn’t easy to control the salinity.

This tank has had some neglect for the last 2 weeks but I plan to get ontop of it today and unfortunately I think it starts with dipping my big Maxima Clam…

I just tore this tank to get this fella into the 5’ tank, she’s gorgeous with the others - a bit of grief but it’s mainly hierarchal and not too bad.

Maybe I’ll have a nicer pod population now there’s less predation.

Because of the move around of rock I’ve lost this guy… he was under the sand too long as I couldn’t find him and had looked then took another look after it settled.

I also think the TDS was 0.1 for the RO/DI, how bad is that for clams?
Unfortunately that’s totally dependent on what that dissolved solid is. Could be nothing, could’ve be something bad like copper or chlorine

Dang, now I have to hope this clam can survive another 24 hours basically and even then, I don’t know if the TDS is 0 currently…

Any way to know what the dissolved solid is?

Less than 24 hours after a FW dip, not looking good - I’ve put it into a bucket of water that’s floating in the tank.

I did unfortunately lose this guy, I have a friend who I’m going to allow to paint the shell and bring it back to life with neon paint :)
