No, not the kind that eats it. But the kind that makes you want to turn your entire tank into nothing but SPS. :D I have that bug and I'm trying to resist selling off my softies and LPS and just going crazy with even more SPS. I just love SPS!

Out of curiosity, anyone else ever go all or mostly sps coral? Any regrets?

Went from mixed to full out sps..
My small dt turned into a sps frag tank.
Had to buy a bigger tank for a DT.
It is very addicting.

I've been in the hobby 8 years, but this time around I don't know why I just can't get enough of SPS. Maybe it's just because my husbandry habits have matured and seeing SPS thrive makes me want even more? Especially Millies. I wants all the millies! I just need to keep buying SPS for the right locations in my tank - top vs those that can sit mid or even lower. My 180g now has 6 radion G4 pros over it, so I have the ability to push crazy amounts of light at all levels.

Same here, love sps corals and keep a sps dominated reef mixed with some Lps and softies.
I like the mixed look and the movement of Lps and soft corals like leathers.
It's more of a challenge to keep a healthy thriving tank stocked like this but I like to stay engaged and in tune with my reef. All corals are great indicators of system health and balance

I've gone all sps once for a period of time, not sure if I regretted the change more so than couldn't help to mix it up due to me liking all coral types ;)

First I started with softies, then added LPS, then SPS. Now slowly trading out my softies and LPS in order to make rooms for SPS. But I do like the colors that my mushrooms and my zoas bring to my tank especially under actinic lighting. Also got some rock flower anemone, got some mid-grade ones. But the really nice ones are crazy in colors.

I regret discovering this hobby period. SPS is worst!!! My collection of frags in my frag/holding tank in just the past 6 months actually look better then the display and iam out of space in both tank. The acros nowadays is just plain wicked. Sickening!!!
