this tank has been a 3 month work in progress. I re-did it all. Here's the thread that talks about all of that. This thread will track the progress of this tank. My goal is to focus more on SPS and filter the tank with only a skimmer and a fuge. Powered by 6 bulb ATI dimmable and soon to be an XHO strip, I'm ready to join the hybrid lighting world. I'm using a XF 250 for flow and maybe a pp-8 on the back wall.

I bet that gives you a little more to look at John;). The project turned out very, following along

I bet the chromis is very lonely in that big tank.

He's not lonely now compared to him getting picked on by the other chromis in the frag tank. He's probably like, :thank goodness they are all gone, now I can get some rest!" LOL

I have a new found success with keeping and growing SPS in my frag tank, so I think I will give it an honest attempt on this tank. I'm thinking acropora on the tonga branch and montipora on the top of the arch. But who the heck knows! No tank has ever come out the way the original vision was in my head. Gotta love the hobby!!!

And then some brown string like algae has come and stayed for a few weeks. It started thinning out once I got my skimmer online. I was fixing leaks in the dang thing.
