Hi all,
I didn't get to do a "tank build" thread when I first started upgrading to this 180 gallon tank. But now that the tank has gone through an apocalypse... I thought I want to do a "rebuild" thread.
After I purchased my house a few years ago, I started out with a 92 Corner. Soon I "needed" to add another 75 Gallon to house some coral overflow and other fish that don't get along together.
After a year of juggling with that I then found the opportunity to upgrade to a 180 Gallon Reef at 6X2X2, this has always been a dream tank to me. I really didn't want anything bigger than that to keep maintenance under control, but also enough to house the types of fish I love.
After a year of steady growth, one day the tank simply had one fish too many and the population came down crashing...
Two months later, here I am

With most of the coral survived but needed to replace new clams, and start over with fish.

I too have had my ups and downs. This hobby is full of them. I find though the more experience I have the fewer of those downs there are. Great looking tank!
