So I am stopping the previous 10G build thread.... I had to do an emergency tank replacement after the 10 gallon tank developed a leak. I came back from a weekend away and noticed there was a puddle of water at one of the back corners. I immediately rechecked the fish to make sure no one decided to shoot for the moon literally and they were all safe and happy in the tank. So I looked around the HOB refugium and no water was leaking from that. So I started checking the seams and I found about 3.5 - 4 inches up there was a small but consistent droplet of water coming out. So I dried it off, grabbed some glue and sealed it up.... or so I though. I looked back at it the next day and the water was still getting through somehow. So I went to one of my LFS and got a 20 gallon high tank. Afterwards I grabbed some rock, more sand, saltwater and a small powerhead and started to move everything over.

So here it is now!

Hardscape looks good! Wow, the dreaded leak event, but you got a bigger tank out of it. Not bad!

So over the weekend I finally found a candy cane pistol! That shrimp and a yasha goby are really high on my want list for live stock! I went ahead and got the shrimp when I was traveling to visit family and talk about an adventure. I convinced the fish store to meet me at 6 pm to bag the little guy up and he gave me a small Styrofoam cooler to help on the flight back to South florida. Got to the airport and TSA were shocked. Especially when I opened the Styrofoam container and they all started looking at it and the little guy snapped at them. After about 5-10 minutes they let me through and off we went to get on the flight. I got in about 2:30 am and drip acclimated for an hour and then released him into the tank at 3:30 in the morning. Now I just have to get the yasha goby.... super excited!

Shhhhhh how did you know I was going to shoot for a 120..... hahaha I wish I could say it was an excuse but unfortunately that wasn't the case. If I could have just jumped on a 120 I would have but I don't feel that I have enough experience for that.... yet....
