What can I do for this Acan? Seems it has some kind of infection. My others look great and growing, not this one.

What's your parameters? Have you dipped the coral? Is it in a place in the tank that's getting too much flow or light? Have you been feeding it?

Sorry to nag, these are the standard questions we usually ask.

Please advise as soon as you can on the above questions.

If it is infected an iodine dip might help it. Is that rock covered in apista?

I was going to say it looks like algae of some sort. But it may be those nasty little critters as well.

The other Acans in the area are doing very well as far as Flow, lighting and nutrition. Yes I am having a bit of an Aiptasia problem I'm dealing with but none are with in its area.
All corals are dipped with Bayer.
Tell me more about the Iodine dip.

I like Lugols. I also like CoralRX. Try marking the containers so you know which one is for dip, and for rinse. I'd also like to suggest brand new containers. They're super cheap at wallys.

I completed the dip, 20 drops in 1 liter tank water. Didn't see anything significant in the dip, just some pods and a couple of strange tiny worms.

Acan's can get bacterial infections. Which is what I am seeing this can happen from fish bothering the coral a simple shift of the coral due to water flow from power head I dip in Lugols help stop the infection.

+1. Once something damages it an infection can start. You can also repeat the dip

I recommend repetition with the dips. Bacteria can persist beyond a single application. When I was having issues with mine, I dipped her three times, once a week. She's happy now and regrowing tentacles on the edges that recessed.

I swear by the entire method. I simply do it when I'm doing a water change, makes life pretty easy.

Certainly makes a lot of sense. Thank you.
