The Angel Lovers Thread

Just got this beautiful girl.

Nice. Currently only have 3 angels in my 125 custom. Half black, singapore and Koran Angel. Future next additions include the gold flake, flame, beauty, striped and sixbar.

Insight if you please. Perhaps I have overlooked this in previous posts, but I have problems with a flame eating my SPS polyps. I need to get rid of it (makes me sad) but wondered if there were other angels that would be ok.

Current list:
Flame angel
Regal blue hippo
Yellow tang
Six line wrasse (he is going to have to go too. Learning from the flame)
Scooter and manderin
Marine beta (awesome fish)
Clown
Blue strip cleaner goby
Coral banded shrimp

125 gallon mixed reef (literally have a little of everything)
Parameters:
1550 mag
580 calc
9.5-11 dkh
1.025
Phos ~o
Nitrate ~3-5

Ideas, comments

Greatly appreciated.

All angels are a gamble. Genicanthus Angels are considered the most reef safe, although many also say regal Angels work as well.

That said any of them can decide to eat coral one day.

Yeah. That's a bummer. Beautiful fish but all my SPS are always close polyp and I can't have that. Such a bummer. Now to figure out what other cool fish to replace them with.

Yup if you like the color red and wish to keep it in the system, divers den sells a bonded pair of flame Hawks every week or two. Watch every night at 5:00 PM CST (6:00 EST)

Awesome. Thanks for that. Will do
No problem. The reason I love a pair of them for you is that hawkfish don't move as much as flame Angels so you won't notice one as much. A pair though - not only a real cool wow factor but more likely to bring red life to your tank.
